I recently dropped my Uggs off at Tip Top Cleaners on Joppa road, right by Mission BBQ. They offer a cleaning service that supposedly is safe and effective for cleaning sheepskin boots. I have two pairs that were in excellent condition, but showed some signs of last years winter. I decided to give it a try. A solid three weeks later my boots were returned to me and look TERRIBLE! The fur has been yanked every which way and is frayed and sticking out of the boot. The outside feels crunchy like a crust is on them. I went back to the owner wanting an explanation, a apology, a refund...basically some common courtesy! He told me he didn’t know anything about Uggs, refused a refund, and basically yelled at me asking what exactly he was supposed to do about it. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a business and am now regretting ever walking though the door there. I want to warn my neighbors, that this business owner has zero respect for your items and will not accept any sort of responsibility when they are ruined. BUYER BEWARE!!!
