Great family run business; they always take care of the clothes unlike the franchise cleaners.
I have been coming here for 5+ years and the service is as good as ever. Just the nicest people. Always smiling, always prompt, and always fairly priced. Clothes are always impeccably cleaned, ironed, altered, or fixed. Hard working, honest, nice people who remember you. I split my time between a few other cities and I've never received a better mix of genuine friendliness, quality, and fairness at a cleaners or, for that matter, any family-run business in any of those places. I know it's a little crazy to be so enthusiastic about cleaners, but I always walk out of here with a smile. I encourage you to go out of your way to give these people your business; you won't regret it.
Poor customer service. I went to this establishment to have a bridesmaid dress hemmed and taken in. I was informed that the dress would be ready on Tuesday after 5 p.m. After showing up twice, the second time at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, I was informed that the dress was not ready and was not back at the shop yet. This was a major inconvenience because I was unable to make it the rest of the week during business hours. The woman behind the register was apathetic and stated that she could have it first thing in the morning, however, she would be unable to make it available even 10 minutes before business hours, or 30 minutes after the next day. Not only is this a major inconvenience, but Perry Hall Crossing Cleaners failed to provide their service. The dress was not ready on time, and I was unable to try it on before paying as my husband had to pick it up two days later. When he went to pick it up, the same woman behind the counter described herself as the owner and refused to make this transaction right. He explained that we would like to continue using this business due to location, however, they failed to deliver their service on time and this had caused a major inconvenience. The lady was quite arrogant and refused to listen to reason. She refused to acknowledge that their service had made a mistake, and therefore refused to even offer a modest discount on the alteration. It was a horrible experience. Try another service first, save yourself a potential hassle, and save money.
Came here every week for about 8 months (mostly twice a week). Usually so nice and do a good job. I realized I did not receive my pink button down Ralph Lauren - told them they were missing that article, acted like I was crazy and trying to scam them.... "we don't have any Ralph Lauren shirts here" Yes you do.. its a very common shirt... Will obviously be using a different dry cleaner. TERRIBLE - DON'T TREAT ONE OF YOUR BEST CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH.
The only tailor I found can hem sweet pants with zippers.. At a reasonable price..
*** The alteration wasn't done right and the dress falls off. The "owner" refused to fix the alteration or even recognize that there was a problem. We were told simply that I needed "bigger boobs" for this dress to fit. This has been a headache from the beginning, and what's worse, is that they refuse to acknowledge a mistake.
