Im giving them 4 stars for my experience with them. Dr Jari was fantastic. He talked to me like a person with a medical condition. He made a treatment plan and every step was great. I also think that having an acceptable expectations is important. Waiting times are determined by the patients.....and you have to understand that if you needed the extra 10 minutes for him to see you you wouldn't want that cut short. As for the office staff, I have had nothing but exceptional care, patience and curtesy, even when there was an issue with my insurance. I would recommend Dr Jari, his office staff, to anybody.
Waste of money had to wait 2 hours to be seen then finally spoke with a dr for 5 minutes and they did absolutely nothing for me. I left in excruciating pain. Please do not go here the place is a joke.
I see Dr. Gurman here at the whitemarsh location. I have been very pleased with my visits so far. For my first appointment they wowed me because they got me in the following day. The wait is less than 10 minutes. I also had an emergency and although the doctor wasn't there, they have physician assistants who take their place to better serve you. I was very pleased with Amanda Larkin (PA). She took her time with me, listened to my concerns and explained my diagnosis and the treatment plan very well. I drive 45 minutes to this office and it is well worth the drive.
I am sad to write a negative review, as the care I received from the two doctors I saw (Dr. Gurman and Dr. Jari) was exceptional. After 3 visits to the main office (not the surgical office), I signed a self-discharge paper due to the lack of organization, communication and professionalism/courtesy of the staff as well as constant issues with their system. On my first visit the nurse apologized for the delay due to their system being slow, during my second visit my husband accompanied me as I could not drive and commented on how disorganized the staff are, and on my third and final visit I waited over an hour to be seen by my doctor because the system was down completely. During this time I was not once provided with an update and heard another patient complain to the front desk staff about the wait and lack of communication. To top it off, the staff appear unphased by the fact that patients make a complaint. When I asked to sign a self-discharge form this evening I was told the system is slow and it's always slow after 4 (I went in at 4:30 on a Friday). When I stated that the system wasn't working on Wednesday either I received no response. I will say that when I spoke with the office manager to share my concerns she was very kind and definitely listened. I wish I could have written something nicer given my positive interactions with the doctors and office manager, but I cannot.
I wish I could put zero stars for this place. ALL of the doctors and PAs are rude.. PLEASE, DO NOT EVER EVEN CONSIDER BECOMING A PATIENT OF THIS SO CALLED HEALTHCARE PRACTICE!!! I have never been so disrespected in my entire life, and they do not know how to run an healthcare office. Oh and for the few people putting 5 star are the ones getting the pills they want. They should be there to help with pain the right way. PILLS ARE NOT ALWAYS THE ANSWER.
