I called the white marsh campus again and asked the operator to transfer me to the counselor and he did. When I told the counselor who I was you could here the disappointment in his voice. I asked him if he had started processing my withdraw per our conversation Wednesday, he told me "No, I'll get around to it when I feel like it". Well I can't wait until you "feel" like it as I want to make sure this school doesn't get ANY of my financial aid because I did not attend this school at all. I asked when he thought that might be, he didn't respond, so I said I'm sorry I didn't hear you. He then responded and said when I feel like it, again. Well ok then Mr. jerk..

I asked to speak to the Dean, who he told me was not there, so I asked to speak to someone else in charge, he told me there was no one there that could help me, so I hung up. I immediately called back and told the receptionist man what had happened, to which he transferred me to a student services coach (you know someone that has the students interest in mind). Explained to her what happened, she was apologetic and more than willing to help me.

I think the behavior/attitude of my admissions counselor Eugene Alford was unacceptable and because of him I will NEVER attend Strayer University. The only thing he was after is the commission for signing me up. Once he got me accepted and registered me (within an hour of applying), he was done with me. This school may be good for some people and I thought it was going to be good for me too, but boy was I wrong.

When a students lively hood/money is at steak, being a school that we are paying for, you need to make sure you put there best interest and requests first. Strayer, I hope you get new people in your admissions office because if anyone experiences what I've experienced with Eugene Alford, you'll lose a lot of money for your "for-profit" education.

If I could give this crappy place no stars I would. I thought Strayer was where I wanted to attend. Filled out all necessary paperwork for FA and admissions on 10/26/17. Was set up and registered within an hour of applying. I had emailed my admissions counselor and didn't have a response for 48 hours to which he emailed me on Saturday the 28th from someone elses email saying he would call me on Monday. No call from him, however I did get a phone call from a man I've never spoken to and could hardly understand.

Financial Aid was asking personal questions from 2015 that rubbed me the wrong way. On Wednesday (11/1/17 at 8:00am) I emailed him in regards to this and a major change as some things happened on Tuesday and I decided I wanted to change my major, No response. After this I was so fed up with the lack of response that at 7:39pm I emailed my admissions counselor again from his original email and then from the other persons email he emailed me from at 7:41pm. At 7:43 I receive a phone call from the guy I've been trying to get in touch with for days asking why I'm withdrawing. When I explained he got an attitude but said he would take care of it. I asked him if he could send me an email confirmation, to which he did (surprising). 2 Days later (Friday 11/3/17) I log in to my icampus to see if anything has been done, and nothing.

Just started, but I love... nice people and very respectful, very helpful, and understanding thanks to them I'm reaching for the stars they keep me motivated and hardworking dedicated to want the best.
