I placed an order for a several (50+) individual pictures, and 40 Christmas cards. I received a call 12/5 saying the pictures were ready for pickup, and went to the store 12/6. The employees could not find my order, and when they looked up my order number told me that it was still in processing and had not yet been shipped to the store.
First off let me say I use Walmart pick up quite frequently for majority of my household items and products for my son. I have never had an issue with Walmart pick up until this location.
On a lighter note this location has a vast selection of products. The customer service just needs to get better.
I mention the Christmas cards and she finds those separately in the back, marked “called 12-12.”
If there weren’t two separate orders the store probably would have disposed of the first set of photos, since they only hold onto them for a week.
I don't much care for the Golden Ring location, although it is the closest to my home and I like the Carroll Island store but it's small....this one is just right and will be my go to Walmart from now on. It is well stocked and full of relatively helpful employees. Was also nice to run in to a manager that I formerly worked with at another big box store!
Not to mention I didn’t receive an email or text about my order status as it says on the web site, only a call.
The workers I have come across at this location are absolutely lazy. Walmart pick up is same day? I make orders at 8am and they aren’t ready until 8pm or the next day. I have to go through cancelling or just finding time after work or on the weekend. Even when I go to pick up my order I am standing waiting for at least 1 1.5 when there’s always an empty line , plus there are several workers walking passed me. I understand the demands of such a large company can get hectic but at the same time when I call at least explain to me you are behind (every time) there are tools designed to make things easier and more convenient. If the company can not accommodate this should be communicated to the customer. I will no longer use this location for my pick up service needs.
Never coming to this Walmart again, and definitely not doing site to store pickup again.
Photo department is worthless, especially for site to store pickup. Only one person at permanent photo duty so the only way to get assistance is to wait in the separate customer service line.
I was looking for some ink for my printer and there wasn't any out. I ask a clerk there and they went in the back to see if they had any in stock. She couldn't find any in stock but she went the extra mile and look at stock that was out but not put on the shelf yet, and she found what I was looking for. That has never happen to me before.
The store had it the whole time but the photo dept is so disorganized they couldn’t find it.
I’ve been shopping at Walmart chain for years and impressed for the first time! I Requested assistance for several different things and for the first time every last employee that assisted me was courteous, helpful, and followed through to completion with a genuine smile. The store was immaculate and organized. I was so impressed especially the fact that it’s Baltimore (and everyone always has something negative to say even when not asked) to the point that I was compelled to write a positive review because it is well deserved. Management deserves their kudos. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE! JOB WELL DONE! And THANK YOU!!!
Fast forward to today (12/12) and I get another call for photo pickup. I go through the same process and the employee has trouble finding my order, but eventually tracks it down in the back. She brings out one envelope which is only the individual photos and not the Christmas cards, and which is marked “called 12-5.”
